Alex and Flo start dancing as a couple in 2001. During the same year they created (with two other couples) the first Bulgarian, salsa group - "Salsa Caliente". In 2002, together they are the first to present Bulgaria and Eastern Europe at the International Salsa Festival in Barcelona, Spain. Later the same year the group splits and Alex and Flo started working independently. Since then they have a great number of participation's at many world salsa congresses as instructors and performers. Flo & Alex appear in many national TV programs and quickly become one of the most well known and demanded couple in the country, and not only.

Their performances have tremendous success. Wherever they dance they are warmly applauded by the public and receive numerous invitations for other shows. Alex and Flo became the organizers of the National Salsa Competition in Bulgaria which is being held every year. At the same time they managed to realize the idea of having their own dance studio. That's how, Dance Studio "Salsa Malsa", opened its doors and became the most fashionable and frequented salsa school in Sofia. Alex and Flo set up also the first children's salsa group - "Salsa Malsa Kids", who participate in various local events. On February 2004, Alex and Flo have been invited as judges at the World Salsa Championship in San Marino, Italy. For that competition they also prepared the team which represented Bulgaria. Since the summer of 2004 they teach salsa in Brussels, Belgium.
