In 1998 they started attending Casino Rueda classes of Mandy Valdes, and they also performed together for some time.
In July 2001 Michal and Daniela commenced teaching salsa in DancePerfect Studio Prague, where they tought for 3 years.
In September 2001 they met El Ivanko (Ivan Balogh), who introduced them to the secrets of L.A. salsa, as well as S.E.C.S. salsa, which they jointly further develop these days. Michal and Daniela helped El Ivanko organising salsa workshops in Prague, as well as in Bratislava (Slovakia)
In January 2002 they started classes of SECS salsa in Step by Step dance studio Prague.
In February 2002 Michal and Daniela took part in Hungarian Open Salsa Championship "Salsa Viva" and took the vice-champions title.
During autumn 2002 they organised together with El Ivanko the first salsa festival in Prague, starting off a tradition of Prague SECS festivals - the second festival came during April 2003 and the third one in March 2004 becoming the largest event of this sort in Czech Republic.
In autumn 2002 they founded the SECS Salsa Team which at present belongs to the most famous salsa dance troupes in the Czech Republic, proof of this being their 3rd place at the 4th Salsa Dance Competition in Amsterdam.
Michal and Daniela are founders of the SECS Salsa Dance School Prague, which has existed since October 2002 and has today more than 300 pupils.
Since 2003 they have been invited frequently as the instructors to the most important summer dance schools in the Czech republic f.e. 13th and 14th Summer Holiday School of the Dance in Pelhrimov (organised by the Dance school HES and QUICK) or Summer School of the Dance Luhacovice (TS Victoria), as well as at the leading salsa events all over Europe f.e. Dirty Dancing Festival in Ulm, the 1st Saxon Salsa Championship in Dresden, Salsa con Clase Weekend in Barcelona, the 5th Latin-Chem in Chemnitz, the 3rd International Salsafestival in Berlin, 4th Salsa Congress in Regensburg …
They belong to the pioneers of CBL Salsa (Salsa Linea) in the Czech Republic and they are one of this style's major promoters.
They are active also as dancers, instructors and organisers, as well as choreographers i.e. of "Greased Salsa", "Gangsters in Paradise", "Wild Salsa" or "Moulin Rouge".
They performed in the Czech Republic (Mánes, Zvonarka, Carioca, Naif, L´Aperitivo, Relevé, Tropison, Lávka,...) as well as in Slovakia (Lucnica), Hungary (Kaméleon), Sweden (1. Salsa Congress in Helsingborg), Germany (Dirty Dancing Festival in Ulm, the 1st Salsacard Party in Berlin, the 5th Latin-Chem in Chemnitz), Spain (Salsa con Clase Weekend in Barcelona) or jointly with the entire S.E.C.S. Salsa Team in Amsterdam (6th Salsa Dance Festival), Berlin (2nd and 3rd International Salsa Festival in Berlin), Regensburg (2nd Salsa con Clase Congress) or Hamburg (2nd International Salsa Festival).
They acquired their knowledge under the guidance of instructors such as Pedro Goméz, Supermario, Susana Montero, Rogelio Moreno, Jami Josephson, Felipe Polanco, Francisco Vasquez, Salsa Brava, Ismael Otero, Griselle Ponce and others.
