Dance studio MuReCaS is an amateur group from Zagreb, unique for its dance expression in Croatia. It charishes scenographic aspect of dance based on wide spectrum of social dances, from waltz and fox-trot, over boogie and rock 'n' roll, to salsa, cha-cha and samba, including tango, charleston, country and other dances, and all that spiced with alloys of jazz dance, tap-dance, non-verbal acting, easy acrobatics etc. The story is an important element of each of their choreographies, and the name of the group – abbrevation of Musical-Revue-Cabaret-Show – clearly points to the kind of dance they are interested in.

During their seven-year activity, they have take part in a large number of manifestations in Croatia, sometimes abroad. Although the caribbean dances are just one of the segments in their wide repertoire, the first choreography set up in 1999. was based on salsa. Beside the choreographies they also perform dance shows, of which the most successful are "Sailor's Tales", with a short section of which they will be presented at the festival
