Ricardo was born in Venezuela but has been living in Zagreb for the past 12 years. He is a professional bassoon player and a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and the Zagreb Wind? Ensemble. He gained popularity as the leading vocal of the band 'Cubismo'. After seven years, he left Cubismo in order to dedicate himself to a solo career.
His first solo album was followed by numerous concerts and 2 video spots, 'Plena Confianza' and 'Amor mio', which climbed very high up the Croatian TV top charts. Having performed in numerous TV shows, Ricardo was invited to participate in the Croatian Contest for the Eurovision Song – „Dora: Ni kiwi, ni mango“. All in all, in less than half a year Ricardo became one of the most popular and sought after Croatian singers, with a significant space in the media.
In May of this year Ricardo held a very successful concert in a Zagreb club, which marked the beginning of a new disco-graphic project. A Cuban singer Jackline Castellanos was his guest at the concert as well as in the studio.
For Ricardo this occasion marked the beginning of recording of a series of duets with Latino singer divas from around the world.
In July of this year Ricardo and Jackeline Castellanos are starting their joint summer tour.
