We will be having 2 EXTRA DAYS of activities in the days of 24th and 25th of June 2009. Those are CITY RELATED ACTIVITIES which we call DANCE POINTS and PRE-FESTIVAL "SPECIAL" workshops with some of the top artists in the world of salsa! All the instructors for the PRE-FESTIVAL workshops have been confirmed and announced! We are very glad to work together with the great and inspirative teachers who will in 2 PRE-FESTIVAL days (24-25th June) make extra 6 classes of workshops for those who want to take the most of the SALSA FESTIVAL week. This is the GREAT OPPORTUNITY for the dancers who want to learn more and still have some quality enjoyment time on the beach!

U-TRIBE "SPECIAL" WITH MIKE & R.ELLE!

One of the worlds TOP dance salsa teachers & performers are coming to Rovinj earlier in order to give You extensive training / Urban salsa style. Drawing their base energy from their afro roots they will be teaching variety of workshops from Afro-Rumba, on1 & on2 workshops with ladies and men style up to the hip-hop salsa shines and latest reaggeton! This is the great opportunity for all dancers to put the flavour into their dancing, learn fluid movement and dancing ON the music.

CUBAN "SPECIAL" WITH PAPI & NOYDEE FROM HAVANA!

Directly from Havana's TOP institute of arts ( ISA) three extraordinary instructors are coming to teach classes related to salsa Cubana and other Afro-Cuban religious and Cuban popular dances. This is the UNIQUE opportunity for the people interested in Cuban dances as this additional 6 classes will greatly add to Your existing knowledge and style of dancing. Moreover, classes will be accompanied with LIVE PERCUSSIONS making the whole workshop even more authentic and giving You an opportunity to really understand the connection between the music and the dance.

DRAFT WORKSHOP SCHEDULE - 11/06/2009

• 6 CLASSES TOTAL (3 classes Wednesday and 3 classes Thursday)
• INT/ADV workshops for line dancers with U-TRIBE!
• INT/ADV workshops for Cuban dancers will teach 1 professional couple (Papi & Noydee from Cuba) plus 1 professional musician/dancer (Jorge Amado / info soon)
• BEGINNER WORKSHOPS will be held by both international and Croatian instructors
• possible several dancers will be chosen to demonstrate choreography on SATURDAY GALA SHOW program!

DANCE POINTS

These will be the places where you can have fun, listen to good salsa music and dance out on the street if you want to. We think of them as a great way to spread positive vibrations and to open salsa to the people who are not familiar with it. Don't be shy and JOIN US in mornings and evenings and build up your excitement towards the great weekend! The exact locations will be announced in June.
