Vedran Marceta and Lejna Karic Lubarda accidently, as all good things accidently happen, started to dance together. Vedran, a long-standing lover of sports dance, Latin-American and Standard dances, started his career of a dancer in 1991. He passed all selections, from the youngest to the adult categories. He was a multiple champion of B&H in Latin-American, Standard dances and combination with different partners. He took part in lots of international tournaments all over Europe. When he got bored, due to changes of partners, to think about future and uncertainty of his sports career, he said goodbye to sport dances and started to dance Argentinean Tango and Salsa. He is creator and leader of the team which organizes Sarajevo Salsa Congress. 

He asked Lejna to dance together, since she also had some similar problems with her partners during her short sports dancer's career in which she always was on the top of the B&H sports dance. She was a participant of many international tournaments and probably the youngest participant of the World Championship Youth category when she was only 13 years old. When she was 16 she stopped dancing sports dances. Now, Vedran and Lejna as a dancing couple can be proud of their achievements in competitions. They won the seventh place in the World Cup in 2010, and the sixth place in the World Salsa Competition in 2010.They are welcomed in many dancing workshops in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia etc.Of course they are the happiest at SARAJEVO SALSA CONGRESS where due to their hospitality, nobody who comes feels as a stranger but as someone who enjoys dancing workshops and amazing Sarajevo’s parties together with hosts and other participants.
