The official dancer of “Casa de la Trova” in Santiago de Cuba and Eliades Ochoa, since he was 18 years old, Yoannis Tamayo considers his style as "afrofusion" , a wonderful blend of traditional dances (salsa, son ...) and Afro-Cuban culture (rumba, afro ...). Yoannis lives in France for last two years and travels around the world to participate at the most prestigious international congresses.
He is recognized for his talent as a dancer but also as a teacher for having an exceptional pedagogy. Yoannis will seduce you as dancer, choreographer and teacher with his great energy, talent and generosity.
Ismaray Chacon Tejeda
Ismaray Chacón ‘Aspirina’ is a member of the famous ASPIRINA family with its origin in Guanabacoa, La Habana (Cuba). She is the granddaughter of the great master Luis Chacón ‘Aspirina’ ... Rumbero Mayor!
She started her professional career with the group ‘Obini Bata’ as a dancer, singer and percussionist of the Afro-Cuban culture. In 2008 she went to Singapore for a year, where she worked as percussionist in a group of Cuban Timba. Coming back to Cuba she became a member of the ‘Coro Folklórico Nacional’ and of ‘Rumberos de Cuba’ and demonstrated her knowledge in different folk groups of the first level. She is a dance and percussion teacher of the Afro-Cuban and popular Cuban culture.
Currently she lives in Europe (Switzerland) where she presents shows and teaches her family’s culture, tradition and knowledge. Charisma, knowledge, creativity and energy characterize Ismaray Chacón ‘Aspirina’.
