Jakov had no dance background or talent before he got involved in salsa in 2006. He discovered it when a friend asked him to check out the class. After exploring all salsa styles on local classes and international salsa congresses he falls in love with salsa On2. The passion for dance eventually grew so big that he moved to New York City for a couple of months to study Afro Latin Funk and train with Frankie Martinez. 
As an ex professional basketball player, he was always interested in training the body. He is very into yoga as key to flexibility and body alignment and uses athletic abilities in his dancing.
He likes all kinds of dance music and he is salsa DJ. He is member of the team of salsaparty.hr, event organization, and the best New Years Eve Celebration in Croatia 'Salsa Silvester Nights'.

Ivana is  in dance and sport world since childhood. she is In elementary school she began to dance Latin-american and standard dances. Then she was 3 years in the Youth Theater where she acted, danced and sang. After theater she trained and played volleyball at primary school team. In 2009. she started working at the Centar plesa Split as reggaeton instructor. From 2010 she is licenced Zumba instructor.

In the meantime she founded first Split reggaeton / dancehall show group S-tribe. Today she works as Reggaeton & Dancehall dance instructor and Zumba ® fitness instructor at Centar plesa Split. She is a member of the organizing team salsaparty.hr, event organization and the biggest NewYears Eve Celebration in Croatia "Salsa Silvester Nights". Constantly attended various conferences and workshops at which collects new knowledge and trends in the world.
