Tromboranga

As part of the new generation of independent Latin orchestras, Tromboranga is the pure essence of "Salsa Dura". Tromboranga´s spicy ingredients are the trombone's sound, solid and strong percussion, and the essence of "soneos" (voice improvisation among the chorus). With influences from the salsa music of the 1960s and 1970s, maintaining a raw, strong, and very danceable sound. Its original songs, like "Humildad", "Palo Pa La Campana,", "Ah Caraj" and "Mi China Colombiana", talk about stories that can describe the lives of any of us, and they have become the number one hit on Latin radios and dance floors worldwide. Tromboranga is made up of musicians from the Caribbean and Europe, all residents of Barcelona, Spain.

The band members are:

Joaquín Arteaga, band leader, timbalist, and composer from Venezuela, known for his long career as a percussionist and also as band leader of the orchestra "Bloque 53".

Diego Coppinger, the traditional "Sonero", with an extensive career that includes "Tropicana" in Cuba, gives color and Cuban flavor, with great force and experience in his amazing soneos.

Freddy Ramos, singer from Venezuela, also an arranger with a wide-ranging musical career.

Rafael "Madagascar" Arciniegas adds Colombian flavor to the music with his piano and arrangements.

Lorenzo "El diablo" Barriendos, Venezuelan musician on bass, with tasteful tumbaos, known for his interventions with orchestras such as Trabuco Venezolano, Mango Group Guaco, among others.

The strong and colorful trombone section, which offers a distinctive mark on the band: Vladimir Peña (Venezuela), Pablo Martin (Catalunya), and Sergi Tous (Spain), all supported by the taste and conga of Oriol Martinez and the spicy bongo of Marc Trias.

Tromboranga World Tour 2023

This 2023 Tromboranga fires up all the salsa world with a new full-length album called "Salsa con golpe" (Salsa punch) that includes 9 new salsa dura dancing songs. The album will be released on vinyl, CD, and all digital platforms on April 20, 2023.
And of course, a full WORLD TOUR 2023 will include Latin America, the U.S.A. , Europe, and Asia, with a new full show sharing their best repertoire for salsa dancers.
