Whether you want to reconnect with Afro-Cuban roots or you’re a hardcore mambo dancer, listening to the music is what truly matters. And there’s no better way to train your ear, feel accents and understand rhythm than dancing directly to live percussion.
That’s why, at the 22nd edition of our festival, selected workshops will once again be accompanied by live Cuban musicians. Our musicians don’t just play the music - they interact with dancers, challenge their timing, and help them hear details they’ve been missing on the dance floor.
A professional percussionist and singer specialised in Cuban folklore, Ariel continues to share his passion for music worldwide with his powerful and memorable voice. He is part of the award-winning musical compilation “La Rumba Soy Yo - El All Stars de la Rumba Cubana,” which received the Latin Grammy for Best Folk Album.
