After their 2024 appearance at the festival, where they delivered a standout concert in Rovinj, the orchestra returns to the same stage!
On Wednesday, June 10th (23:00-00:30), the main stage at Adris becomes the heart of a true Cuban fiesta!
Founded by Juan Formell and now led by Samuel Formell, Los Van Van have shaped contemporary Cuban music for over five decades. Their Grammy-winning album Llegó Van Van confirmed their global status, but their real strength is on stage.
They fuse traditional Cuban percussion with rock, funk and jazz, creating a sound that stands apart in Latin music. With vocals by Abdel Rasalps, Roberto Hernandez, Armando Canteroa and Vanessa Formell, their live performance carries both Caribbean ease and intensity.

Since the 1970s, they have delivered iconic salsa hits like “Sandunguera,” “Que le den candela,” and “El negro está cocinando,” capturing everyday Cuban life while preserving their distinctive Van Van identity. Their leading position in the salsa world was further confirmed when they closed Juanes’ “Peace Without Borders” concert in Havana in front of more than a million people.
