Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) is an international dance festival and holiday experience focused primarily on salsa. 

The festival combines social dancing, workshops, live music, outdoor events, and a strong international community in a summer destination setting.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival is a destination-based international salsa festival held in Rovinj, Croatia, bringing together social dancing, education, live music, and open-air events in a relaxed Adriatic setting. 

Each summer, dancers from around the world gather to enjoy long dance nights, inspiring workshops, and the unique atmosphere of a seaside festival.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) takes place in Rovinj, Croatia, a coastal town known for its historic old town, seaside atmosphere, and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) is held across several locations in Rovinj. 

The Adris Old Tobacco Factory is the main venue, hosting most workshops, all indoor night parties, and the festival office. 

Villas Rubin Resort hosts beach parties and the Sunday Grande Pool Party. 

The Grande Fiesta outdoor event takes place on Rovinj’s main square

Some workshops may also take place in additional halls near the main venue.

The festival team is available throughout the festival week during both daytime and late-evening hours. 

Exact daily opening times are published on the official website and on-site.

Yes. Wearing your wristband is mandatory for access to all workshops and parties at Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF). 

Lost, removed, broken, or damaged wristbands cannot be replaced. 

Wristbands are waterproof, and access without a wristband is not possible.

Photography and filming at Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) are regulated. Official photographers and videographers cover the event. 

Recording workshops is not allowed unless explicitly permitted by instructors. 

Personal photos are allowed only at outdoor events, provided they do not interfere with official media teams. 

Cameras are not allowed at indoor evening parties or inside the main venue.

Photos and videos from Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) are published gradually in the months following the festival on official Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels.

If you lose an item during Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), please visit the festival office at the Adris Old Tobacco Factory. 

A Lost & Found service is available there.

Boat parties and bootcamps are not included in any pass and must be purchased separately.

Tickets for the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) 2026, taking place from June 8 to June 15, are available via the official CSSF webshop

Early bird tickets can be purchased through the webshop and SeaSunSalsa ambassadors. 

Subject to availability, tickets may also be purchased on site at the festival office.

Tickets for Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) can be purchased online via the webshop or in person at the festival office during the event. 

Accepted payment methods include credit cards (MasterCard®, Visa, Maestro®), cash in euros during festival days, and IBAN or international bank transfer for advance payments.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) uses a new webshop system. All customers, including returning participants, must create a new account, regardless of previous registrations.

You can check your ticket and order status by logging into your account in the CSSF webshop. If you completed a purchase without creating an account, your confirmation email contains a direct link to your ticket. This email should be kept for reference.

To have a valid e-ticket for Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), you must provide your email address and full name at the time of purchase. 

To complete the ticket, you must later add your country, dance level, and preferred dance style. 

For bank transfer payments, the ticket becomes valid only after the payment is received and the order status is marked as PAID (which can last up to several working days).

If your ticket is marked as incomplete, please log into your webshop account or use the link from your confirmation email and add the missing information, including your country, dance level, and preferred dance style.

If you cannot attend Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) 2026, you may resell your pass or request a name change by purchasing the name change service. 

Refunds are possible only if ticket cancellation insurance was purchased. 

Pass postponement to future editions is not available.

Yes. Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) offers discounted prices for groups of 10 or more participants. For details, please contact [email protected].

Ticket cancellation insurance allows you to receive 80 percent of the ticket price refunded, excluding the insurance fee, if you are unable to attend the festival. Read the policy here.

Insurance must be purchased at the same time as the ticket and cannot be added later. 

Refund requests must be submitted no later than two days before the festival starts. Refunds are processed within 30 days.

International bank transfers may take several business days to process. Once the payment is received, the ticket status will automatically be updated from awaiting payment to PAID.

No. Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) sells festival tickets only. Accommodation and flights must be booked independently.

Single party tickets are released in limited quantities, depending on venue capacity. 

They may become available online via the CSSF webshop or on-site during the festival.

Travel & Accommodation

There are several convenient ways to travel to Rovinj, depending on your starting location.

The closest airports to Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) are Pula, Rijeka, Trieste, Ljubljana, and Venice.

If you need an airport transfer, you may contact Pipo Travel, an official festival partner providing transfer services. 

Rovinj is also accessible by public buses, car, or ride-sharing platforms.

During Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), shuttle buses operate between Villas Rubin Resort and the Adris Old Tobacco Factory. 

The shuttle service is included in all festival passes and runs throughout the day and evening. Detailed schedules are published closer to the festival.

Is CSSF right for me?

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) may not be ideal for complete beginners with no dance background, dancers mainly interested in competitions, or those looking for a kizomba-only or performance-driven event.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) is not intended for complete beginners with no dance experience. 

CSSF is best suited for improver, intermediate, and advanced social dancers who already dance socially and want to grow through dancing, education, and community experience.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) attracts dancers of different levels, from motivated improvers to intermediate and advanced social dancers, creating a diverse and high-quality social dancing environment.
