Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) is an international dance festival and holiday experience focused primarily on salsa. 

The festival combines social dancing, workshops, live music, outdoor events, and a strong international community in a summer destination setting.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival is a destination-based international salsa festival held in Rovinj, Croatia, bringing together social dancing, education, live music, and open-air events in a relaxed Adriatic setting. 

Each summer, dancers from around the world gather to enjoy long dance nights, inspiring workshops, and the unique atmosphere of a seaside festival.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) takes place in Rovinj, Croatia, a coastal town known for its historic old town, seaside atmosphere, and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) is held across several locations in Rovinj. 

The Adris Old Tobacco Factory is the main venue, hosting most workshops, all indoor night parties, and the festival office. 

Villas Rubin Resort hosts beach parties and the Sunday Grande Pool Party. 

The Grande Fiesta outdoor event takes place on Rovinj’s main square

Some workshops may also take place in additional halls near the main venue.

The festival team is available throughout the festival week during both daytime and late-evening hours. 

Exact daily opening times are published on the official website and on-site.

Yes. Wearing your wristband is mandatory for access to all workshops and parties at Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF). 

Lost, removed, broken, or damaged wristbands cannot be replaced. 

Wristbands are waterproof, and access without a wristband is not possible.

Photography and filming at Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) are regulated. Official photographers and videographers cover the event. 

Recording workshops is not allowed unless explicitly permitted by instructors. 

Personal photos are allowed only at outdoor events, provided they do not interfere with official media teams. 

Cameras are not allowed at indoor evening parties or inside the main venue.

Photos and videos from Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) are published gradually in the months following the festival on official Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels.

If you lose an item during Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), please visit the festival office at the Adris Old Tobacco Factory. 

A Lost & Found service is available there.

Is CSSF right for me?

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) may not be ideal for complete beginners with no dance background, dancers mainly interested in competitions, or those looking for a kizomba-only or performance-driven event.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) is not intended for complete beginners with no dance experience. 

CSSF is best suited for improver, intermediate, and advanced social dancers who already dance socially and want to grow through dancing, education, and community experience.

Yes. Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) offers advanced-level educational content, including separate bootcamps and focused training formats led by top international instructors, designed specifically for experienced and advanced dancers.

At Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), social dancing is the core, supported by a strong and diverse educational program.

Yes. Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) includes social kizomba dancing during the day and night. 

Kizomba is offered mainly as a social experience, without an extensive educational focus, and may not suit kizomba-only or hardcore kizomba dancers.

Outdoor activities are weather-dependent and may move indoors if needed.

Of course, you do not need a dance partner to be part of the festival.

You will have plenty of opportunities to dance since partners are constantly switched during workshops and "everyone dances with everyone" during parties.

Boat parties and bootcamps are not included in any pass and must be purchased separately.

Tickets for the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) 2026, taking place from June 8 to June 15, are available via the official CSSF webshop

Early bird tickets can be purchased through the webshop and SeaSunSalsa ambassadors. 

Subject to availability, tickets may also be purchased on site at the festival office.

Tickets for Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) can be purchased online via the webshop or in person at the festival office during the event. 

Accepted payment methods include credit cards (MasterCard®, Visa, Maestro®), cash in euros during festival days, and IBAN or international bank transfer for advance payments.

Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) uses a new webshop system. All customers, including returning participants, must create a new account, regardless of previous registrations.

You can check your ticket and order status by logging into your account in the CSSF webshop. If you completed a purchase without creating an account, your confirmation email contains a direct link to your ticket. This email should be kept for reference.

To have a valid e-ticket for Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), you must provide your email address and full name at the time of purchase. 

To complete the ticket, you must later add your country, dance level, and preferred dance style. 

For bank transfer payments, the ticket becomes valid only after the payment is received and the order status is marked as PAID (which can last up to several working days).

If your ticket is marked as incomplete, please log into your webshop account or use the link from your confirmation email and add the missing information, including your country, dance level, and preferred dance style.

If you cannot attend Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) 2026, you may resell your pass or request a name change by purchasing the name change service. 

Refunds are possible only if ticket cancellation insurance was purchased. 

Pass postponement to future editions is not available.

Yes. Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) offers discounted prices for groups of 10 or more participants. For details, please contact [email protected].

Ticket cancellation insurance allows you to receive 80 percent of the ticket price refunded, excluding the insurance fee, if you are unable to attend the festival. Read the policy here.

Insurance must be purchased at the same time as the ticket and cannot be added later. 

Refund requests must be submitted no later than two days before the festival starts. Refunds are processed within 30 days.

International bank transfers may take several business days to process. Once the payment is received, the ticket status will automatically be updated from awaiting payment to PAID.

No. Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) sells festival tickets only. Accommodation and flights must be booked independently.

Single party tickets are released in limited quantities, depending on venue capacity. 

They may become available online via the CSSF webshop or on-site during the festival.

Travel & Accommodation

There are several convenient ways to travel to Rovinj, depending on your starting location.

The closest airports to Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) are Pula, Rijeka, Trieste, Ljubljana, and Venice.

If you need an airport transfer, you may contact Pipo Travel, an official festival partner providing transfer services. 

Rovinj is also accessible by public buses, car, or ride-sharing platforms.

 Accommodation recommendations for Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF) include Villas Rubin Resort, Hotel Eden, Hotel Lone, and Grand Park Hotel Rovinj. Participants are free to book hotels or private accommodation independently.

During Croatian Summer Salsa Festival (CSSF), shuttle buses operate between Villas Rubin Resort and the Adris Old Tobacco Factory. 

The shuttle service is included in all festival passes and runs throughout the day and evening. Detailed schedules are published closer to the festival.

Boat Parties & Cruises

No. The organizer is not responsible for bank or payment service provider fees that are outside the organizer’s control.

Boat party tickets are non-refundable if the boat party or cruise takes place as scheduled. No refunds or vouchers are issued for no-shows or late arrivals.

If a boat party or cruise is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or decisions by the captain or port authorities, the service is considered not delivered.

If canceled by the organizer:

  • You will automatically receive a voucher for the full ticket value, valid for:
    •  another boat party during the same festival (subject to availability), or
    • any boat party at a future edition of the festival
  • Voucher validity is 24 months and vouchers are transferable

Yes. If you prefer a refund:

  • You must submit a refund request within 14 days from the cancellation date
  • Refunds are processed only to the original payment method
  • Cash refunds on-site are not available

Refund processing time depends on the payment provider.


 

If an alternative boat trip is offered and you accept it, this is considered full fulfillment of the organizer’s obligation, and no additional compensation applies.

If the boat party takes place as scheduled:

  • Tickets are non-refundable
  • Vouchers are not issued for missed departures or late arrivals

No. If a boat party is included in a festival pass or package:

  • It is considered an included program element
  • It has no separate monetary value
  • No partial refunds or vouchers apply if the boat party is canceled

Boat party cancellations may be decided by:

  • The event organizer
  • The boat captain
  • Port or maritime authorities

based on safety, weather, and sea conditions.

Refunds & Cancellations

No. All tickets are non-refundable if you cancel for personal reasons, unless you purchased Ticket Insurance at the time of purchase.

Personal reasons include, but are not limited to:

  • Illness or injury
  • Travel problems (flights, visas, passports)
  • Work or family obligations
  • Changes of plans or schedule conflicts

These situations do not qualify for refunds without Ticket Insurance.

Without Ticket Insurance, tickets remain non-refundable.
With Ticket Insurance, you can request an 80% refund of the ticket price (excluding the insurance fee), as long as you submit your request at least 2 days before the event.

Travel issues are the participant’s responsibility and do not qualify for a refund.
Ticket Insurance can cover your ticket in such cases if purchased.

Events may continue, be adjusted, or partially relocated depending on conditions.
Weather-related changes do not entitle participants to refunds.

Artist and program changes may occur due to illness, travel issues, or other reasons.
Such changes do not qualify for refunds as long as the festival takes place and maintains its overall concept.

Temporary stage closures or program adjustments may occur due to safety, weather, or technical reasons.
This does not qualify for partial or full refunds.

If the festival is fully canceled due to force majeure or other serious reasons, all registered participants will be informed directly.
Any applicable solutions (such as rescheduling or other arrangements) will be communicated at that time.

Ticket Insurance is an optional add-on that allows you to receive 80% of your ticket price refunded if you cannot attend for any reason.

You must submit your request no later than 2 days before the event starts.
Requests received after this deadline cannot be processed.

No. Ticket Insurance must be purchased together with the ticket and cannot be added later.

No. Ticket Insurance applies only to the ticket price.
Travel, accommodation, and other related costs are not covered.

Refunds are processed within 30 days after a valid request is received.

Tickets are personal. Name changes or transfers may be allowed until a certain date, subject to organizer approval and administrative conditions.
Details are published on the event website or communicated during ticketing.

If part of the festival (such as a specific day, evening, or stage) is canceled due to force majeure, weather conditions, or venue safety issues, and the festival has otherwise taken place, no partial refunds apply, as program elements are bundled into the overall ticket.

If you purchased a standalone Katarina Island Party ticket, you will be offered a refund or voucher.

If the party is included in your PREMIUM PASS or PREMIUM PARTY PASS, no partial refund applies, as it is an included benefit without a separate cash value.

All ticket purchases and related policies are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
