This summer, we return to Rovinj for another magical edition - a week filled with music, movement, sunshine, friendships, late nights, beach vibes, and the kind of memories that stay with us long after the final song.
For more than two decades, this festival has brought dancers from all over the world together in one of the most beautiful towns on the Adriatic! And as we get ready to celebrate once again, we want to share an important reminder that helps protect the festival experience, the city of Rovinj, and the future of CSSF.
Dance where the festival happens
All dancing must take place within the official festival venues.
This is not just a guideline. It is an important agreement with the city of Rovinj, created to keep the festival respectful, safe, and sustainable for everyone - dancers, locals, visitors, partners, and the community that welcomes us year after year.
Rovinj is more than a beautiful festival setting.
It is someone’s home, a peaceful holiday destination, a historic town, and a place that has trusted our dance community for many years. That trust is something we must protect together.
Why this matters
Spontaneous dance gatherings in public areas may seem fun in the moment, but they can create real problems for the city and the local community.
They can:
- disturb local residents
- affect visitors who came to Rovinj to rest and relax
- create noise in areas not prepared for events
- leave trash behind in public spaces
- put unnecessary pressure on the city and festival organization
That is not the spirit of our festival.
Where the energy belongs
The CSSF energy belongs where the music, dance floors, sound systems, safety measures, teams, and festival atmosphere are ready for you:
inside the official festival venues and official program locations.
These are the spaces created for dancing, connection, celebration, and unforgettable summer memories.
Official CSSF venues include:
- Adris Old Tobacco Factory
- Villas Rubin Resort
- MMC Hall
- School Hall
- Katarina Island
- Main Square (for Grande Fiesta only)
To be perfectly clear:
- No dancing gatherings in city streets
- No beach parties outside the official festival program
- No music setups in public spaces
- No unauthorized parties in public areas
Respect the venues. Respect the city. Protect the festival.
Our festival is about passion, joy, connection, music, and respect.
Respect for the dance.
Respect for each other.
Respect for Rovinj.
By keeping the celebration inside the official festival spaces, you help preserve the atmosphere, the trust, and the future of the festival we all love.
Let’s celebrate another summer of dance with joy, gratitude, and care.
See you on the official CSSF dance floors!
